We’re excited to confirm that the 2026 AMHS NSW State Championship Show has been extended to a 3 day show — a direct response to the incredible level of support in 2025, which saw almost 200 exhibits across the event.
This format allows us to deliver a well-paced, high-quality program while supporting the continued growth of NSW Shows, and importantly helps alleviate the pressure on competitors by reducing the need to manage multiple rings simultaneously.
The indoor venue selection for 2026 has been determined following a member preference poll, ensuring the event reflects the direction of our membership.
Looking ahead, we are also actively assessing the potential to alternate the State Show between Sydney and Dubbo on an annual basis for 2027/2028, providing greater accessibility for members right across NSW.

The 2026 AMHS Victoria Swan Hill Feature Show is set to deliver a quality competition experience in a relaxed and welcoming regional setting. Join us on 2nd October 2026 at the Swan Hill Showgrounds for a full halter, performance and harness program for horses and ponies 50” (12.2h) and under.
